Ghana Science Project

We wish to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the following:-

• Jon Elvert, Director of the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium at the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a former president of the International Planetarium Society, and Chair of the International Planetarium Society Outreach Committee, who inspired the Louisiana Art and Science Museum to donate their used MediaGlobe.

• Carol Gikas, President and Executive Director of the Louisiana Art and Science Museum and the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium, who donated the MediaGlobe to the Ghana Science Project.

• Joanne Young of Audiovisual Imagineering. Audiovisual Imagineering donated refurbishing costs and labour for getting the MediaGlobe in shape, provided training for Dave Weinrich, and will provide customer support in the future.

• The Ghana Science Project Directors, Jacob and Jane Ashong, wish to record their profound gratitude to Dave Weinrich, Director of Minnesota State University Planetarium, for making this project possible. Dave initiated, coordinated, organised, trained, and donated his expertise and training for the realisation of this project.
